Jonathan Craft

Associate Professor


Jonathan Craft is an Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science and School of Public Policy and Governance, University of Toronto. He specializes in comparative public policy and administration, policy analysis, and Canadian politics. He is particularly interested in the study of the policy process, political-administrative relations, policy advice, and the intersection of technology and policy making. He is the author of Backrooms and Beyond: Partisan Advisers and the Politics of Policy Work in Canada (University of Toronto Press, 2016), and is co-editor of Issues in Canadian Governance (2018, Emond) and Policy Work in Canada: Professional Practices and Analytical Capacities (2017, University of Toronto Press).
