The Real World of Politics: An Introduction
Themes
This course introduces students to political science by examining contemporary issues such as the politics of climate change, borders and trade agreements, terrorism, political participation and protest, Indigenous rights, and elections and electoral systems.
Texts
All texts will be made available, for free, online via Quercus.
Format and Requirements
One two-hour lecture per week, plus weekly tutorials. Students will be required to write one 5-page essay and one final exam.
