Migration Politics and Policy in a Global World
Themes
This course provides students with a thorough overview of the challenges and topics pertaining to migration in the global world. Commencing with key theories and concepts in migration, the course will move on to discuss the role of state policies and impact of contemporary issues and challenges (eg. crises, gender, labour migration). The course will examine migration in both the Global North and Global South to engage broadly with such topics.
