Themes
Well-publicized instances of police violence against minorities, the BLM movement, sharp differences by race in COVID mortality rates, and recent American election campaigns reveal a nation divided by race. This seminar will draw from history, psychology and political science to better understand prejudice, racism and contemporary politics of racial & ethnic identity
