Introduction to International Relations

Themes

This is a course on the study of International Relations (IR). More accurately, it is the study of global politics, that is, going beyond the international (between states). This course introduces the basic theoretical frameworks, fundamental assumptions, and history of the sub-discipline of IR within political science. It also discusses “big themes” that we can use some of the tools of IR to address, such as Power, Inequality, and Conflict.
