FYF Seminar

Settler Colonialism and Enduring Indigeneity

Themes

What is settler colonialism and how does Indigeneity endure it? The course addresses this central question through an investigation of Indigenous cultural productions. Considering the politics of cultural production, we look at Indigenous memoir, documentaries, film, graphic novels, poetry, music, and video games that represent how Indigenous peoples exist, resist, and persist against colonial formations of settlement and conquest.
