Rise of China as a Global Power
Themes
This course will take students through important domestic institutions and events in China that shape its current political landscape. It also examines China’s major adventurism abroad, such as the Belt-and-Road Initiative, and what increasing footprints of Chinese state and private firms overseas mean for international politics.
