Topics in Comparative Politics I
Indigenous Feminist and Queer Theories
This course discusses Indigenous feminist and queer theories. We track political theories from Indigenous gender, sexuality, and feminist studies, and how they advance critiques of colonial heteropatriarchy and decolonial modes of relationality. The class considers Indigenous feminist and queer interventions in governance, affect, drag, sovereignty, erotics, and more.
