Gender, Politics, and Public Policy in Comparative Perspective
Themes
An introduction to gender, politics, and public policy that examines how political systems and public policies shape gender relations and gender-based inequalities. The course is structured as a policy solutions lab that critically examines the potential for public policies to enhance gender equality and by what means. Cases to be drawn on include Canada in a global and comparative context.
