Topics in Political Thought II
This seminar is devoted to a study of a select number of essays of Montaigne (1580). Through a combination of lectures, presentations and discussion we will explore some of the key themes of the text as well as various classical influences on Montaigne and his legacy for contemporary liberal-democratic thought.
