The first term examines the constitution, the machinery of government, federalism, the courts, the Charter of Rights, and the electoral system. The second term explores the ideas, issues, and societal forces that drive Canadian politics including ideology, political culture, regionalism, Quebec and language, multiculturalism, aboriginal issues, media, and interest groups.
