Quantitative Methods and Data Analysis
Themes
This is an advanced-level course on quantitative empirical methods for undergraduate students who have completed an introductory-level course. The course will provide students with opportunities to develop deeper understanding of theoretical foundations behind statistical inference and quantitative data analysis. In addition, it will provide an introduction to statistical computing language, R, which has become increasingly popular among social scientists, policy experts, and data analysts. The course will also be a good preparation for those students who wish to further pursue quantitative methods at graduate level in the future.
