Themes
This course will examine the reciprocal relationship between business and government. The course will discuss these topics from various theoretical angles, including a focus on diverse forms of business lobbying and corporate political activity at multiple political levels, business power, old and new forms of corporate social responsibility, and private regulation and governance. While we will mainly focus on developed countries, the course will also touch on topics related to business-state relations in developing countries.
