Contentious Politics and Social Movements
The course provides an introduction to various perspectives on contentious politics and social movements. Students will acquire a solid foundation in the study of all forms of disruptive politics in a broad range of comparative contexts, with special emphasis on non-democracies.
Format and Requirements
One two-hour seminar per week. Course work consists of one essay and one presentation.
