Land and Indigenous Politics
Themes
This course investigates Indigenous politics through land. Focusing on material struggles over land, from mountains to rivers, we will study the politics of Indigeneity as they are globally produced and territorially particular. The class traces the intersections of land and Indigenous politics across North and South America, Oceania, and the Middle East.
