Maxime’s research interests include electoral behaviour, political knowledge, electoral systems, and research methods. His dissertation researches how political knowledge influences the voting calculus in national elections. Maxime has also contributed to large research projects such as Making Electoral Democracy Work (http://electoraldemocracy.com/) and the Local Parliament Project (http://www.localparliament.ca/). Current and forthcoming publications can be found in Electoral Studies (2012; 2014; 2015), Regional and Federal Studies (2016; forthcoming), and the Canadian Journal of Political Science (forthcoming).
