Dani Nedal

Research interests: urban geography, nuclear weapons, political violence and conflict, domestic politics of foreign policy, dynamics of power and authority in international politics. He has published in various academic journals, edited volumes, newspapers, magazines, blogs, specialized newsletters, and more. Recent publications include “Urban Concentration and Civil War” (Journal of Conflict Resolution), and “Anarchy and Authority: International Structure, the Balance of Power, and Hierarchy” (Journal of Global Security Studies). His current book project explores how national security policy is shaped by countries’ urban geography and the vulnerability of cities to modern warfare.
