Explores key issues in Indigenous politics in Canada. Draws on Indigenous and non-Indigenous authors to provide students with an overview of historical and contemporary issues regarding Indigenous people’s relationship to the Canadian state. Topics discussed include to colonialism, treaties, law, and resistance.
