Class warriors: The soldier in capitalism and class struggle
Biography
Jasmine’s research engages with themes across political theory, international relations, history, and critique of political economy. Their dissertation explores the role of the soldier in capitalist society, using textual interpretation, Marxist Feminist and Third World economics, and historical case studies to analyze soldiers as labour inputs into the state, as members of the working class, and in radical and revolutionary movements.
