Biography
Logan’s research interests are in comparative political theory, between the ancient, biblical, and modern traditions. His dissertation is on the emergence of universal rights in early modern political thought, with a focus on John Locke and the sixteenth-century Dominican friar Bartolomé de las Casas, as forerunners of the Anglo-American and Latin American traditions of human rights, respectively.
