Armend is a doctoral candidate in Political Theory at the University of Toronto, working in both the history of political philosophy and contemporary political thought. He holds a MA Degree from the University of Louisville, USA, and is a recipient of Fulbright Scholarship (2013-2015) and Ontario Trillium Scholarship (2015-2019). His dissertation, Thinking the Unthinkable: Carl Schmitt and Hannah Arendt, explores the underlying similarities and differences between Arendt’s and Schmitt’s works.
