Professor Peter Loewen, a member of Mount Allison University’s class of 2002, is the recipient of this year’s Contemporary Achievement Award. The Mount Allison Federated Alumni Association award recognizes outstanding achievement by alumnus or alumna within 15 years of graduation from Mount Allison. Loewen is being recognized for both his academic and career achievements.
Professor Loewen’s current academic interests are political psychology and behaviour, especially in Anglo-American democracies, behavioural economics, public opinion, genopolitics, and experimentation. He teaches in the fields of Canadian politics, political behaviour, comparative politics, and experimentation.
