Gerald Bareebe is one of fourteen students to be awarded a Trudeau Foundation Doctoral Scholarship this year. Bareebe’s studies are focusing on whether democratic institutions can survive the personalization of power, and his research is based on case studies of recent developments in Rwanda and Uganda.
