Robert Vipond awarded Ontario Historical Society’s Brant Award

July 6, 2018

Congratulations to political scientist Robert Vipond on being awarded the Ontario Historical Society’s 2017 Brant Award for his book Making a Global City: How One Toronto School Embraced Diversity, published by University of Toronto Press. The Brant Award recognizes the best book on multicultural history in Ontario published in the past three years. In 1967, The Ontario Historical Society (OHS), a non-profit corporation and registered charity dedicated to the preservation and celebration of Ontario’s history, established the awards program to recognize individuals, organizations, corporations, and authors who have contributed significantly to the preservation and promotion of Ontario’s heritage.
