Seva Gunitsky discusses Russian involvement in Syria

Seva Gunitsky, assistant professor at the department of Political Science and the Munk School of Global Affairs at the University of Toronto, recently spoke with U of T News about the message Russia is currently trying to relay to the rest of the world and how it might contribute to a political solution in the end. Gunitsky’s research involves examining the effects of the international system on domestic reforms saying “Russia is acting out of a sense of fear and paranoia, not boldness and daring”.
