Biography

Semuhi is a Ph.D. candidate in Political Science at the University of Toronto. His research focuses on the authoritarian political control of key social groups through repression, polarization, and cooptation. He employs quantitative, computational, and experimental methods for his academic research. His co-authored papers are published in high-impact academic journals such as Comparative Politics and Sociological Methods & Research. He is also the co founder of a Toronto based political risk consultancy company that leverages big data to predict protests. He is a non resident fellow at Massey College.
