Biography

Catherine is interested in using quantitative research approaches to study political communication. Specializing in Canadian Politics and Comparative Politics at the PhD level, her dissertation looks at how speech content, speech style, and other aspects of political performance vary between ‘insider’ and ‘outsider’ politicians, in Canada and the UK. She is working with Prof. Christopher Cochrane, and has taken additional methods training at the University of Michigan.
