Biography
Neekoo’s research contributes to understanding how governments repress minority groups, specifically the factors that affect a government’s selection of repressive tactics. Her dissertation uses a novel events dataset and interview data to examine the use of different repressive tactics against a small religious minority in Iran between 1979-2020.
