Biography
Nathan Alexander Sears, PhD Candidate in Political Science, The University of Toronto; Trudeau Fellow in Peace, Conflict, and Justice, Munk School of Global Affairs; 2020 Cadieux-Léger Fellow, Global Affairs Canada.
Nathan’s research focuses on international relations and existential threats to humankind. His dissertation seeks to explain the securitization failures of existential threats to humanity, including nuclear weapons, climate change, and artificial intelligence. His research has been published in the Journal of Global Security Studies, Global Policy, and World Futures.
