Biography

Quinn M. Albaugh is joining the department as a Joint Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Toronto Faculty of Arts & Science and the Max Planck Institute for Religious and Ethnic Diversity (Göttingen, Germany) in September 2020. Her research interests lie in political parties, elections and the representation of marginalized groups in Canadian politics. Her work has been published in the Canadian Journal of Political Science, Parliamentary Affairs, and the edited volume Canadian Democracy from the Ground Up (UBC Press). She is currently working on a book manuscript tentatively entitled Gatekeeping: How Party Organizations Shape Group Representation.
