Biography

Jessica Soedirgo recently earned her Ph.D. in Political Science at the University of Toronto. Her research is motivated by an interest in ethnic and religious conflict, with a regional focus on Southeast Asia. Her research has been published in P.S. Political Science & Politics, Citizenship Studies, and South East Asia Research. She is currently working on her book project, based on her dissertation, titled The Threat of Small Things: Patterns of Repression and Mobilization against Micro-Sized Groups in Indonesia.
