Biography
Shaun P. Young is a Senior Fellow of the York Centre for Public Policy and Law. His research focuses on issues of justice in contemporary multicultural liberal democracies. Recent publications include Evidence-Based Policy-Making in Canada (Oxford University Press, 2013), Reflections on Rawls: An Assessment of his Legacy (Ashgate Publishing, 2009), and Reasonableness in Liberal Political Philosophy (Routledge, 2008), as well as “Multiculturalism as a Deliberative Ethic” (Public Reason, 2013; with Triadafilos Triadafilopoulos) and “Exercising Political Power Reasonably” (Critical Review of International Social and Political Philosophy, 2008). He has taught political theory, public policy, and philosophy at a number of universities in Ontario.
