Mauricio Suchowlansky

Biography

Mauricio Suchowlansky is a doctoral candidate in Political Science at the University of Toronto and holds a M.A. in Political Science from Concordia University (Herbert Quinn Medal). His research interests include political theory, history of political thought (especially modern and early-modern), republicanism, and Latin American political thought. Mauricio Suchowlansky’s dissertation examines the political significance of Machiavelli’s most historical work, the Istorie Fiorentine of 1520-24. His recent work has been published in the Journal of Interdisciplinary History of Ideas.
