Biography

Research interests: civil procedure; access to justice; appellate practice; international law; administrative law; contracts. Currently (since 2016) a Ph.D. Candidate at Osgoode Hall Law School and 2016 Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation Scholar. From 2012-2016, he was an associate in the litigation department of Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP in Toronto, where he practised a variety of civil litigation. In 2011-2012, he was a Frank Knox Memorial Fellow at Harvard Law School. In 2010-2011, he was a law clerk in the Office of the Chief Justice of the Ontario Superior Court. In 2009, he was an intern at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia in The Hague. He has published academic and non-academic articles, on a variety of legal and political topics, and taught international law at the University of Toronto since 2013.
