Gabriel Eidelman

Biography

Gabriel Eidelman teaches in the University of Toronto’s Department of Political Science and School of Public Policy and Governance. His PhD dissertation, entitled “Landlocked: Politics, Property, and the Toronto Waterfront, 1960-2000,” was awarded the 2013 Vincent Lemieux Prize for best thesis by the Canadian Political Science Association. His current research examines the historical relationship between public land ownership and waterfront redevelopment in Toronto, Vancouver, and Chicago.
