Biography
Jacob Winter is a PhD Candidate in Political Science at the University of Toronto. His research focuses on how leaders spread their attention across policy problems. His dissertation project explores the impact of of external finance and electoral pressures on political speech and budget allocations in Zambia and Ghana. At UofT, he's been affiliated with the International Centre for Tax and Development and the Global Economic policy Lab. His research is supported by a SSHRC Canada Graduate Scholarship.
