Spyridon Kotsovilis

Biography
Spyridon Kotsovilis obtained his Ph.D. in Political Science from McGill (Neporany fellowship) and also trained in Complex Systems at the Santa Fe Institute, New Mexico. His research interests include conflict processes, cyberpolitics, democratization and Modern Greek politics as well as mixed methods. He has taught International Relations and Comparative Politics at McGill and the University of Toronto, including the Munk School of Global Affairs-where he is an Associate Graduate Faculty member. In 2018 he was the recipient of the University of Toronto Faculty of Arts & Sciences Superior Teaching award, and has been awarded TDI (Teaching, Development and Innovation), Global Classrooms and Indigenizing the Curriculum grants. He has also worked with Medecins Sans Frontieres/Doctors Without Borders and is a member of the MSF Canada Association.
