J.E. Hodgetts Award

Congratulations to Professor Alison Smith and alumnus Jack Lucas for winning the 2019 J.E. Hodgetts award for best article in the Journal of Canadian Public Administration for their article ‘Multilevel policy from the municipal perspective: A pan‐Canadian survey.’

Each year, The J.E. Hodgetts Award goes to the finest article in English appearing in the previous years volume of the Canadian Public Administration Journal. The award was created in 1992 by the Institute of Public Administration to honour the contributions of one of the deans in the field of public administration scholarship, J.E. “Ted” Hodgetts (1917 – 2009).
