The Department of Political Science hopes that you will attend the 2015 Walter Gordon Symposium on Public Policy, an annual symposium co-sponsored by the School of Public Policy and Governance (SPPG) and Massey College.

The team for this year’s conference is – “Confronting Complexity: Better Ways of Addressing our Toughest Policy Problems”. The symposium will consist of five panel discussions, set over two days, and will bring together pre-eminent public policy actors, politicians and academics. The first panel discussion will be held at Massey College on Wednesday, March 25 at 2:15 pm.

Two of our faculty members will be participating in panels at this year’s symposium. Professor Sylvia Bashevkin will moderating the symposium’s opening panel discussion on ‘Complexity and the Media’ on March 25. Professor Janice Stein will be a panellist on the conference’s second day and will discuss the present perils of international institutions. Her panel will begin at 4:30 pm on Thursday, March 26.
