Professor David Cameron appointed Dean of Faculty of Arts & Science

Front Cover_smallProfessor David Cameron has been acting as the interim Dead of the Faculty of Arts and Science, but on January 21st he signed on for two more years.

Professor Cameron has demonstrated outstanding leadership as Interim Dean of the Faculty during the time of transition for both the Faculty and the University. He brings to the position an impressive scope of experience and vision.

At the University of Toronto, Professor Cameron has served in many roles, including Vice-President, Institutional Relations; Chair of the Department of Political Science; and, Acting Vice-Dean, Undergraduate Education and Teaching. In addition to extensive administrative and advisory work at the federal level, Professor Cameron has served in a series of positions for the Government of Ontario, including: Deputy Minister, Intergovernmental Affairs; Deputy Minister and Special Advisor to the Premier on Constitutional Reform; and, Special Constitutional Advisor to the Premier of Ontario.
