Biography
Specializing in Political Theory and International Relations, Rachel’s research explores the psychological consequences of the human body’s privacy, vulnerability, and mortality. Her dissertation focuses on the relationship between the body and personhood in the thought of Thucydides, Thomas Hobbes, and Sigmund Freud. More broadly, Rachel’s interests lie in the history of political thought, leadership studies, and psychoanalysis.
