Biography

Primary research interests: Politics of Immigration and Integration, West European Politics, Welfare State. Secondary research interests: Theories of Democracy, Normative Political Theory. Teaches Comparative and European Politics at the University of Toronto since 2013. In 2013 he was a researcher at the WZB in Berlin. In 2012 he was a visiting Professor at the Munk School of Global Affairs, and previously a researcher at the University of British Columbia (Vancouver), The London School of Economics, and the University of Stockholm. He has published a book on European Social Models and several articles on normative aspects of democracy and immigrants’ integration.
