Getting out the homeless vote

June 6, 2017

Anna Kopec, a PhD candidate at the University of Toronto recently spoke to CBC’s The 180 on the issues surrounding mobilizing the homeless to vote in elections. She says while homeless people are able to vote, they, and the people who serve them, often don’t know it. And in her view, that’s a problem. Many think that they need an address — and some who do know, have been turned down at polls in the past. To listen to her full interview visit the CBC website.
