Cutting Edge Governance-A Conversation w SPPG & The Institute on Governance
SPPG In Partnership with the Institute on Governance Presents: Cutting Edge GovernanceDate: Feb 13, 2012 Governance is not static; it evolves and innovates over time and across jurisdictions. To capture the leading edge of this innovation, the Institute on Governance has analyzed eight cutting edge approaches to governance in the public sector. These eight governance approaches range from municipal level governance, all the way to supra-national governance approaches. The key factors in all of these cutting edge governance approaches are: an increase in partnerships with multiple stakeholders (public and private sectors, non-profits and citizens); willingness to experiment with aggregation or devolution of organizations, and; a focus on the governance arrangements providing better outcomes for citizens.
